I've been getting a ton of comments that people aren't receiving notifications from the original thread for some reason, so I am re-sharing the post to restart the comment thread. (The last post was up to 300 comments)
Maybe it will make viewing the thread a little easier on cell phones too!
We are almost done filling up the circles too! Sorry that it's taking a little longer than we planned, but we really want these circles to rock. Plus, I've been offline a little longer than I planned due to being sick!
Thanks to everyone for participating, we've been having a blast with this!

, I challenge you to a Shared Circle Showdown!
Here's how we play!
First, We take turns picking our teams from the G+ user pool until we reach 50 people each (We have over 100 million people to choose from!) Once someone is picked, they cannot be picked again. NO DUPLICATES ALLOWED!
Second, We take our 50 people and put them in a circle.
Third, We share our circles publicly on the same day at the same time.
So, who wins right?
We add up the total followers our team of 50 has before we share the circle, and then we total up how many followers our team has after a couple days of sharing the circles. The biggest increase wins!
We will keep track in this shared document: http://goo.gl/gKqO8
Shouldn't be too tough, since it's only 50 people each.
Here are a couple of rules:
1. We can only pick someone that has less than 5000 followers.
2. They have to post regularly.
3. They have to be strong interactors with their fellow gplussers.
Keys to winning…
We're going to make sure to pick interactive people who will be willing to re-share the circle they're in after we share it.
What's the prize
Loser buys lunch for a start, I'm willing to take suggestions for other incentives to win!
The BIG benefit?
We end up with a kick-ass circle of 100 Gplussers who like to interact. PLUS, (hopefully) We have helped 100 kick-ass Gplussers boost their total number of followers.
Let's get started.
tag your team picks into the comments of this post.
If you get tagged, feel free to comment and interact! That's sort of the whole point of this! If you don't want to play, just tell us to drop your name out of the game.
I made up the rules… I go first!
