I talked to Mike K. yesterday, and he told me that there were several members of the Young Leaders of Northeast Indiana that would like to bring back the Raft Race!

Boy am I glad we were late for that picture. We should have kicked those letters off the raft as soon as we didn’t win the “best representation of radio station” award. They probably didn’t even consider us since, looking at the shirts, it was officially the WQHK & wmee Raft Race, we disenfranchised one of the stations. Not that it would matter, I don’t think they even looked at the raft. Anyway, this was the day that I found out Mountain Dew doesn’t float, which has come in handy many times since.
OMG.. that is freaking hillarious. Hopefully your friends aren’t really serous about trying to do that again. If they must.. let me know since I do have some experience in putting that event on when I was working there.
