Got my passport today. Now I’m aching to go somewhere. Even if that whole Amazing Race thing never comes through.

We went to Bob Evans for Breakfast today. There was about a 15 minute wait, so we put our name on the list.
Sure enough, after almost 15 minutes our name was called and we headed to the waitress so we could be seated. We had to round up Charlie, so it took an extra minute or so to get up there. We gave her our name and she looked at the list. Our name was already crossed out, she looked up and told us we had already been seated.
long pause… Obviously we hadn’t.
They seated us… again I guess.
Turns out another group had just come into the restaurant when they called our name. They told the waitress they were the Cramers, and were seated.
Who does that?? This is the first time *EVER* that I’ve had someone steal my table at a restaurant! What is that all about?!?
Benefit of the doubt - MAYBE they also had the last name Cramer, and MAYBE every restaurant they visit has a standing reservation for them. So MAYBE they got confused and actually thought the table was for them.
Yeah, or MAYBE they’re jerks.

Being a gentleman, I offered a hand to my wife as she was standing up from sitting cross-legged on the floor.
As I pulled her up, a slight groan escaped my lips. The “uggh” sound seemed to echo through the room; I knew I was in trouble. My wife is not a big person and it’s not like helping her required any effort at all, so why I made the sound is beyond me.
It only took a second to go from gentleman to babbly idiot - explaining that I didn’t really mean anything by the sound effect. After several futile minutes of explanation, I swear I saw the corner of her mouth curl into a smile.
Grrr.

I decided that it was time to whip my personal blog back into shape. I think its been neglected long enough. I dusted off the URL, wiped out all of those old eBay images and website design drafts, and reposted my entire blog.
Now - redesign time. I went ahead and used one of those silly blogger templates for now, but I think it’s time for the Extreme-Makeover Blog edition!
Now, I’ve gotta find that monkeyjack logo I had made over 5 years ago.
It’s on a disc, it’s in my house, and it’s probably not labeled correctly.
That should take me at least a month to find.
I’ve really gotta get my stuff in order.
